Dominic Pisano is a co-founder and the head of family law at Dominic Levent Solicitors. Dominic has broad and indeed extensive experience in all aspects of family law, dealing particularly with the complexities that can arise when negotiating financial settlements following the breakdown of a relationship, as well as arrangements that divorcing or separating couples may need to work out in relation to their children.
Dominic is very knowledgeable and familiar with matters that concern non-married couples and potential cohabitation disputes that may arise from such arrangements, and also has vast experience of cases that engage with foreign elements, and cross jurisdiction issues. Dominic often deals with complex high net worth financial matters as well as financial applications following an overseas divorce, and cases which involve multiple and indeed foreign assets.
Dominic frequently advises clients on pre and post-nuptial contracts and has written several articles regarding family matters as well as giving talks and conferences, addressing other practitioners and family law experts alike. Dominic also provides specialist advice to committees of numerous charitable organisations.
Dominic deals with children disputes at all levels, although he particularly works with more complicated matters which can often contain an international element requiring a fast, urgent and proactive approach. Dominic also deals with Hague Convention proceedings and children issues connected with other jurisdictions.
As a member of Resolution, Dominic is committed to adhering to their Code of Practice and their work as Family Practitioners, as well to the Code of the Law Society. Dominic supports separating couples and their families in resolving various difficulties that stem from the end of a relationship.
